PATIENT - PROVIDER
COMMUNICATION STUDY
We need your help!
The Center on Outcomes, Research and Education (CORE) at the NorthShore University HealthSystem Research Institute is recruiting males currently or previously diagnosed with leukemia or lymphoma, lung or colon cancer who have received at least two cycles of chemotherapy for an industry sponsored research study.
The purpose of this study is to understand the communication that occurs between patients and providers about symptoms resulting
from chemotherapy cancer treatments, particularly chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
Your participation is valuable in helping healthcare providers better understand chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting,
improve communication between patients and providers, and ultimately improve the quality of patient care.
Participants will be asked to answer questions online and will be compensated $20 for their time. In addition, for each
completed survey, $40 will be donated to the referring organization!
It will take approximately 25 minutes to answer the questions. Your answers will be confidential and will not be directly
associated with your identity.
