Here is
information about the fields (features) on the Instrument
Properties page.

Name
|
The instrument
name.
|
Domain(s)
|
The domain(s)
that represent an instrument’s content.
|
Description
|
A brief
description of an instrument to help others understand its
purpose.
|
Comments
|
This field
provides additional information about an instrument.
|
Language
|
This field is
used to indicate the original language of an
instrument.
|
Condition
for Use
|
The condition
under which an instrument may be used, including Public Domain,
CORE only, Proprietary, Unknown, Work in Progress, and Available to
PROMIS.
|
Status
|
This field is
used to indicate the current state of development for an
instrument, including:

Under
Development
·
Locked
·
Administered
·
Disabled

An instrument
may also have the status of Public. This status can only be
assigned by Assessment Center Administrators. A status of Public
makes an instrument available to all Assessment Center users. To
request and instrument’s status be changed to Public, contact
administrators at help@assessmentcenter.net.

Form

PROMIS Profile
is an instrument type displayed in the Type column on search
screens but users cannot create an instrument of this
type.

IRT
Model
|
This feature
is used to assign an IRT Model for use in item
administration.

The options
available in the IRT Model
drop list are dependent on the type of instrument you
select.
If the
instrument type is Item Bank/CAT (Computerized Adaptive Testing),
you will need to select Graded Response Model from the IRT Model
drop list. This is currently the only IRT model
available.
If you are
creating a short form, the IRT Model field will default to No Total
Score.

Setup CAT
Parameters
|
Allows you to
designate CAT parameters for this instrument.

Upload
PDF
|
This feature
is used to upload an associated PDF for review and
print-friendly format that may be used in pen and paper data
collection.
|
Save
|
Saves changes
and updates to an instrument’s properties.
|
Back
|
Used when you
want to leave the Instrument Properties screen and do not wish to
save any changes.
